Raised on July 28, 2016 as the product of the students of the Los Angeles Visiting School of the Architectural Association (AAVS.LA), Now Art LA, and Poetic Kinetics, an L.A. based company specializing in large-scale art installations and experimental design. The temporary tensile structure was a global hit with over 50 million views, an installation gone viral.
"Liquid Shard," a kinetic sculpture by artist Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics, is on display in Los Angeles' Pershing Square. It was done in collaboration with students from the AA Visiting School and will be on display until Aug. 11.
